Scoring High in Board Exams Without Undue Stress
Class 10 board examinations are often a student’s first major milestone. With a disciplined daily routine, scoring above 90% is completely attainable for any diligent student.
1. Stick to a Realistic Daily Timetable
Do not create 14-hour marathon schedules that burn you out in three days. Plan 3 to 4 focused hours outside school hours with designated breaks using the Pomodoro technique (25 minutes study, 5 minutes rest).
2. Write Down Formulae and Theorems
Reading math or physics passively is ineffective. Write steps out by hand. Maintain a separate pocket notebook containing all essential chemical formulas, math theorems, and physics laws for quick revision before sleeping.
3. Solve Previous Years’ Question Papers (PYQs)
Nothing builds exam confidence like solving past 5-year board papers in a timed 3-hour mock setting. This habit trains your internal clock and eliminates exam hall anxiety.
4. Prioritize Sleep and Nutrition
Staying up until 3 AM leads to brain fog and poor recall. Aim for 7 to 8 hours of sleep so your memory consolidates what you reviewed during the day.
